Thomas Wild in 1896 established the Royal Albert china business in Longton, one of the six towns around Stoke-On-Trent making up the world famous ‘ Potteries '. Today the company is a Royal Doulton brand and is famous for its fine bone china tea and breakfast sets.

Royal Albert Old Country Roses is probably the most famous example of the brand.
